With a name like Beaver Carpets, you can imagine we "know" hardwood. In fact, we "cut our teeth" on it. During our early years, it was difficult being a hardwood flooring wholesaler in the "land of carpet wholesalers". With more than 80% of the worlds carpet manufactured within 20 miles of our location, we're certain that we did not quite "fit in" selling truckloads of hardwood flooring, as our competitors were shipping truckloads of carpet.

In fact, it was probably difficult for our shippers, who scheduled us as the last stop each day on their route, so they could "squeeze" our boxed hardwood in among the rolls of carpet. Have times (and styles) ever changed. These days with the amount of hardwood being sold in Dalton, GA, hardwood has a separate truck from the shipper, and we are no longer the last stop of the day.
